Writing millions of words on contemporary issues from a philosophical and historically well-read point of view was my way of maintaining learning combat readiness for graduate school in case I ever earned the money to pay for that advanced degree that would have let me be a college instructor in some poor, foreign nation that couldn’t afford quality educators.
