The Democrat Party since the Obama administration have used whatever legal force they could to get their agenda moved forward. From Obamacare, the nuclear option and recess appointments to Presidential executive orders (Presidents Clinton and Obama used more than 500 between them in comparison to just 95 for President Trump so far) the Democrats have abandoned cooperation and bi-partisan solid majority opinion to force whatever they possibly can. Democrats have lost good faith and trustworthiness of most people. They are no longer the loyal opposition but a party that has a filtered worldview they can see yet others cannot.
In the anticipated declaration of a national emergency to secure the southern border against tens of millions of illegal immigrants the President is simply taking a page from the Democrat playbook of pure hardball politics. It is unfortunate the Democrat Party has driven things toward their extreme. From homosexual marriage to tax cuts for the rich made permanent by a nearly total Democrat vote for the Bush II -Obama tax cuts the Democrat Party works for the bad of the nation so far as it is can.
