I wrote a science fiction short story/novella in 1994-95 with the premise that political wisdom can’t be taught. That is, it can’t be passed on from generation to generation. The cold war had ended and Democrats hadn’t yet built up a new one with Russia although they were then laying the foundation of Cold War 2.0. One must put some effort in and intention on keeping peace and avoid nuclear war. It isn’t enough to simply let things go and resume hostile relations when convenient building up to war to use up tech weapons inventories to restock new merchandise on western shelves.
