Some think God is nature. That is one human perspective made from within nature. If one gives a fish an ocean the fish might wonder if God is the ocean even including himself. Cosmologists as big fish might believe they know everything through physics and find that H20 and hydrogen break down in to atoms and strings eventually and that nothing exists besides quanta; disbelieving in spirit.
The wise fish might swim to a rock on the bottom of the sea and look upward at the light to consider the brevity of life-as-a-fish then swim slowly off reflecting upon the philosophy of logic and how words can be strung together meaningfully. Fish were of course condemned in the beginning because ancient ancestors disobeyed their creator when they were other-than-fish living as some sort of spirited beings in a garden with no way to be saved except through the grace of the Lord for fish-o-faith. Otherwise the Ur-wins and spiny barbs, shark teeth and predators of sundry sorts will harass the unforgiven fish until the end of days.
