Could an A.I. pass the bar exam? One day lawyers may join the ranks of those whose occupation became obsolete because of A .I. Creating a national basic income of $15,000 would soften the blow of having one’s occupation disappear permanently.
Artificial intelligence is saturating the Internet and workplace and will probably change the workforce much like computers did. Combined with robots opportunities for humans are shrinking because of new event technology. Until humans invent new ways to earn a living perhaps joining with A.I. to boldly synthesize new human-AI. jobs where none existed before a national guaranteed basic income is required to surpress waves of disruptive micro-economic shocks.
The environment requires rebuilding too. Moving to an ecologically sustainable environmental economic tool kit will also create economic micro and macro economic shocks. It would be best to combine the twin challenges into one target package to solve.
It is possible that AI and human field work opportunities could develop in agriculture and forestry, ecosystem services structuring and in 3d home building with new designs that enhance ecosystem recovery. A much smarter government political economy leadership generation will be required.
