Some people wonder if Jesus Christ kept the sabbath day. What interests me is why it is people believe God (Jesus Christ) should keep the sabbath. The laws are for men rather than God for-himself, who is perfect. Jesus of course was without sin. Entering into God’s rest is the idea about the sabbath. God’s rest equates to the Kingdom of God. Ed Jarret wrote that: “God’s rest is a state, or place, where God rules and manages his creation, free from the chaos and disorder brought about by sin and rebellion. All who will rest from their own work of bringing their own life under control can enter into God’s rest.” https://www.christianity.com/wiki/christian-life/how-can-we-enter-god-s-rest.html#:~:text=God’s%20rest%20is%20a%20state,can%20enter%20into%20God’s%20rest.&text=In%20Hebrews%204%3A1%2D11,of%20Hebrews%20discusses%20God’s%20rest.

This is God’s never ending effort to rectify mankind unto Himself. Hebrews 4:3-11 describes the relationship of God’s rest that has occurred and does…”3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”
