Is Truth Really a Victim of Blind Patriotism?

Truth is the answer to a test question that returns a positive correlation; as in disquotation theory. Truth is nominal rather than realistic as in Platonic realism. True-false as in Boolean algebra truth tables. Patriotism is something else. Blindness doesn’t make one a purveyor of falsehood. patriotism today may be blind allegiance to the rich and their values- who can say? With so many different political ideas about what is right in the U.S.A. today which values are patriotic, and can matriotism be regarded as of equal value? What if truth is only the second or third rather than the first victim of ;blind patriotism’? If truth is the first victim, what is the second? Does patriotism mean following a particular political party’s will and goals instead of another? Is it patriotic to support giving billions for Ukraine to war against Russia, and less patriotic to support giving billions for Russians to buy weapons to fight Ukraine, or is the patriotism dependent upon what the rich or elected members of congress or the President want to give billions of dollars to and then being a sycophant becomes the patriotism? Need one be a patriot for every state, or for just red states and let blue states go their own way (or vice versa)?
