Power requires induction of more energy in order to sustain it; love is self-standing and possibly an element in-the-universe of the will of God that people of course deny.

Some states require more energy than others. Jet aircraft require much more than bicycles. Political power requires much more power than homelessness or love. Some powerless people are homeless or in loving relationships, while alternatively, some powerful people are callous, non-loving and interested in more political power. I would think that power and quantities required to wield it can be measured or approximated, much as it can be for stars, fission reactors and nuclear devices. Running successfully for U.S. Congress requires a couple of million dollars. Love is less easy to measure…maybe poets have had a good try at that. Perhaps one needs a motor vehicle now days for a loving relationship. Those cost fewer than $100,000. In Nevada legal brothels may charge $500 for a half hour and up yet most don’t regard that as love. Love is less costly than political power or brothels.
