For exodus, some have advanced naturalist explanations and others miraculous of a character in keeping with Omnipotence. Maybe time travel and teleportation were involved.
Apparently though the Hebrew language of the original and oldest versions of the Bible don’t call it a Red Sea. Lots of errors above in interpreting what scripture has to say about the crossing. Wikipedia relates that “The Hebrew term for the body of water that the Israelites crossed is Yam Suph. In Exodus 2:3-5, Isaiah 19:6-7, and Jonah 2:5, suph is translated as reeds, rushes, marshes, or weeds.[19”.
Further, on the sea of reeds “The salt-water reeds suggested by yam suf flourished in many shallow lakes and marshes around these areas.[21][26] Snaith suggests that these are vague terms and Hoffmeier concludes one should be cautious in relying on them to settle the crossing location.”
