Starship Troopers; Indoctrinate Bugs with Post-Modernism

Watching the 1997 classic Starship Troopers this morning I realized that taming the bugs could have been accomplished non-violently if Trooper leadership had chosen to capture and indoctrinate bugs with post-modernism. After being converted the bugs could have become like horses used to let Troopers become calvary riding up the steep slopes and craggy vales of the alien world.
