Capitalism may be used in any way- as may a democracy. It is human character that is lacking. Capital is comparable to a store of supply that may be applied wherever required. If individuals and society choose to allocate resources ineffectively, that is a reflection of a human tool bag with a wrong content of values and knowledge.
