Ukraine’s President through Martial Law Zelenski will send a team of negotiators to Washington DC tomorrow and Saturday to ask for money, weapons and expanded intelligence from President Trump. Mr. Zelensky wants to increase Starlink’s coverage to include Russia so he can use it to attack the entire Russian heartland more accurately with missiles and drone tech applications enabled by the west including the U.S.A. The West Ukraine President believes he can defeat Russia in three months of attacks on energy facilities including oil refineries and other critical infrastructure.
History informs us that Russia does not quit fighting easily, assuredly Russians are no less willing to continue than Ukraine in the war. That is the essential problem. Escalating the conflict will just move Russia closer to using tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine including Kiev. France and Britain are the sole Grand Alliance members of Europe with nuclear weapons, and it is doubtful that they would use those in response to Russian use of battlefield nukes in Ukraine.
Neither would the United States prefer to have World War Three occur and retaliate with a nuclear strike on Russia. The game theory has Russia winning the war with nukes if it is desperate enough.Russian demands for ending the war are plain. Zelenski and his supporters believe the west can outspend Russia and deploy better technology and will continue fighting against Russia over Ukraine attempting to recapture lost territories for years if the United States continues to provide finances, intelligence and weapons to the government of West Ukraine. There still is nothing funny about the war. Russia should take the east bank of the Dnepro, Ukraine the West shore and call the war over- that would be the rational and profitable course.
