Democrats won’t take the Congress until January, and then will have two years of much ado about nothing full of sound and fury accomplishing next to nothing. The plutonomy loves that sort of distraction as it leaves them be concentrating wealth. Democrats are completely clueless about how to reform Democracy, or secure borders, and seek after the Breton Woods sort of internationalism when Europe was a weaker partner of America and China and Russia were not economic competition. They have done everything necessary to halt the growth of democracy in Russia, enable Iran to have nuclear weapons, restore socialism in Russia and make Russia a natural resource colony of China. So long as Democrats can charge it and move toward doubling the 1.05 trillion dollar interest annually on a 41 trillion dollar public debt that is still increasing they will decide how change morality, create sanctuary cities for illegal migrants while getting most of their agenda veto’d. The trials, and speeches, impeachment etc will dominate the news cycle even as the nation flips back the other way as the next election appears.
Donald Trump was never the issue- he is a person- Democrats attack individuals rather than advance issues so he was the perfect political opposition to give the news cycle a great distraction. Issues are issues and Democrats and the electorate are not political, international realists. When the economy has begun the elimination of white color jobs with AI and robotic replacements that don’t pay taxes decreasing federal revenues Democrats have not made taxing robots and AI a priority- Instead they seek a tax on the wealthy in order to provide the 1% a good laugh.
